Caramel Apple Grapes
A fun bite-sized twist on a caramel apple! These juicy green grapes are dipped in smooth caramel and rolled in crushed peanuts or your favorite toppings for the perfect sweet-and-salty snack
Yield: 6-8 servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Special Equipment: Parchment Paper
Ingredients
1 bunch large green grapes, washed and thoroughly dried
Caramel bits (or wrapped caramels)
Heavy cream or whole milk (per caramel package directions)
Salted peanuts, crushed — or toppings of choice (sprinkles, coconut, mini chocolate chips, etc.)
Toothpicks
Directions
Prep the Grapes: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Wash and completely dry the grapes — they must be dry or the caramel won’t stick. Insert a toothpick into the top of each grape.
Melt the Caramel: Place caramel bits and a splash of cream or milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt according to package directions, stirring until smooth.
Prepare Toppings: Place crushed peanuts (or your chosen toppings) in shallow bowls for rolling.
Dip and Coat: Dip each grape into the melted caramel, letting excess drip off. Immediately roll in your topping of choice. Set on the prepared baking sheet, toothpick side up, to cool and set.
If Caramel Thickens: Reheat briefly in the microwave for a few seconds to loosen.
Tips:
Chill grapes for 10–15 minutes before dipping for a firmer bite.
Mix and match toppings for fun combos like peanuts with toffee bits or coconut with mini chocolate chips.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve. Best enjoyed the same day.
