Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • 2 cups chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line several baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.

  7. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.

  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  10. This recipe should make about 5-6 dozen cookies, depending on the size of your cookies.

Enjoy!
