Fireside Garlic Naan
Soft, fluffy homemade garlic naan with a lightly charred exterior and tender interior.

Ingredients
2½ cups bread flour, plus extra for dusting
1½ teaspoons instant yeast
2 cloves garlic, grated or 1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons olive oil
¾ cup warm water
Garlic Oil:
1 cup olive oil or beef tallow
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or herb blend
Directions
Mix all dough ingredients until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Knead briefly, cover, and let rise for 1 to 1½ hours, until doubled.
Divide into 8 portions (or 6 large), roll into ⅛ inch thick ovals, and let rest 10 minutes.
Mix the garlic oil ingredients together.
Brush both sides of each naan with the garlic oil.
Grill or cook in a cast iron skillet over medium low heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until bubbly, golden brown, and lightly charred.
Brush with additional garlic oil or garlic butter while warm and serve immediately.
