Fluffernutter Bars
Sweet, salty, and packed with peanut butter goodness, these Fluffernutter Bars are the perfect treat for any peanut butter lover!
Ingredients
For the Bars:
- ½ cup room temperature butter 
- ½ cup peanut butter 
- ½ cup granulated sugar 
- 1 cup brown sugar 
- 2 eggs 
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour 
- ½ teaspoon baking soda 
- 1 teaspoon salt - For the Peanut Butter Frosting: 
- ½ cup peanut butter 
- 3 tablespoons softened butter 
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream 
- 1 cup powdered sugar 
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - For the Topping: 
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow fluff 
- Crushed Nutter Butter cookies (for garnish) 
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup butter, ½ cup peanut butter, ½ cup sugar, and 1 cup brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined. 
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms. Press the dough evenly into a greased or parchment-lined 8x8-inch baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely. 
- In a medium bowl, combine ½ cup peanut butter, 3 tablespoons softened butter, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy. Spread the peanut butter frosting evenly over the cooled bars. 
- Gently spread the marshmallow fluff over the peanut butter layer. Sprinkle crushed Nutter Butter cookies over the top for garnish.
