Garlic Parmesan Melting Cabbage
Tender roasted cabbage wedges simmered in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce until soft, flavorful, and melt in your mouth.

Ingredients
1/2 medium green cabbage
1/4 cup olive oil
1 yellow onion, diced
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp chili flakes
3 oz cream cheese
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cut cabbage into 3 wedges, keeping the core intact.
Heat olive oil in an oven safe pan over medium high heat and sear cabbage on both sides until golden, then remove.
Lower heat to medium and cook onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes until soft.
Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
Pour in chicken broth and stir in Parmesan, then simmer about 5 minutes.
Return cabbage to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
Transfer to oven and bake 25 to 35 minutes until tender.
Finish with fresh parsley and serve.
