Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Let me tell you I like cranberry sauce.

I don’t care if it’s the canned jelly kind, a quick simmer or a complete “homemade from scratch” with all sorts of herbs and citrus. There’s something about cranberry sauce for me that makes it when I eat turkey. Ashton shares one of her favorite recipes below.

Today we’re making a homemade cranberry sauce from dehydrated cranberries. In Sweden they don’t have canned cranberry sauce and with thanksgiving coming up I needed to figure out a recipe that’s work and be delicious! And this one hit the bill and came out perfect!

Here’s how to make it!

🦃 Homemade Cranberry Sauce 🦃

📖 Ingredients:

  • 2C. Dehydrated Cranberries

  • 1 C. Sugar

  • 3TBSPS Lemon Juice

  • Water to Cover

Preparation:

  1. Place cranberries into a pot with a

  2. Add your sugar, water and lemon juice.

  3. Boil on high heat until it looks like the cranberries have tea sorbet the liquid. You may add more water if needed. It usually takes just around 15-20 minutes to make.

  4. Once they have boiled, place them on the counter to cook slightly in the heat

    About 2-3 minutes.

  5. Take your immersion blender, food processor or blender and blend until fine.

  6. Let cool or serve warm! Enjoy!
