Homemade Gatorade (Watermelon Lemonade Electrolyte Drink)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups watermelon juice (blended and strained watermelon)

  • ½ cup lemonade concentrate

  • 2 to 3 cups cold water

  • ¼ tsp Celtic sea salt

  • 1 to 2 tsp honey or maple syrup, optional

  • Ice, optional

 

Directions

  1. Blend fresh watermelon until smooth and strain if desired. Add the watermelon juice and lemonade concentrate to a pitcher.

  2. Stir in the Celtic sea salt until dissolved, then add cold water until the flavor is balanced to your liking.

  3. Stir in honey or maple syrup if using. Serve over ice or refrigerate until chilled.
