LA Street Dogs
Ingredients
Serves 8
- 8 Hot dogs 
- 8 Hot dog buns 
- 8 Bacon slices 
- Mayonnaise 
- Mustard 
- Ketchup 
- 2 Onions thinly sliced 
- 2 Bell peppers (any color), thinly sliced 
- 8 Jalapeños 
- Hot Cheetos 
- Canola oil 
Directions
- Wrap each hot dog with a slice of bacon. 
- Cut the onions and bell peppers into slices 
- Heat canola oil on a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized and the peppers are softened, about 10-15 minutes. 
- While the onions and peppers are cooking, add the bacon-wrapped hot dogs to the griddle or skillet, cook until the bacon is crispy and the hot dogs are heated through. 
- Toast the hot dog buns on the griddle or skillet until lightly browned. 
- Place the cooked hot dog in the bun. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on top of the hot dog. Top with sliced onions and peppers. 
- Top with Hot Cheetos ( optional )
