Nutella Doughnut Bites

These are simple treats, packed with flavor. Just a can of biscuits and each piece of dough rolled thin. Each nugget is a warm, chocolate-creamy treat. This is what you need.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • 1 tube of refrigerated biscuits (8 count)

  • 2/3 cup Nutella (refrigerated)

  • Oil for frying

  • powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the egg with water. On a lightly floured surface, roll each biscuit into a 6-in circle; cut each biscuit into quarters.

  2. Brush lightly with egg mixture then top each wedge with a half tsp of Nutella. Pull the corners of the dough together over the Nutella. Pinch the edges firmly together to seal.

  3. In a large skillet, heat oil to 350 degrees. Place doughnuts into oil seem side down. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  4. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
