Popovers
Popovers (Yorkshire Pudding) are quick, simple and easy to make! These light, buttery pastries are best served with hearty dishes
Ingredients
- 2 eggs 
- A dash of salt 
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 
- 1 cup milk 
- 2 tablespoons of butter, cut into 8 slices 
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 450° Place one slice of butter into eight of the 10 muffin cups. Place the muffin tin into the preheated oven, allowing butter to melt. 
- Meanwhile, beat two eggs and combine with the milk. In a separate bowl, sift flour and salt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until smooth. 
- Retrieve the muffin tin from the oven and add mixture to each muffin cup (a little over half). Add back to the oven for 10-12 minutes. 
- WITHOUT opening the oven door, reduce the temperature to 350°F. Bake until it becomes golden, about another 15 minutes.
