Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce
A rich and velvety cream sauce infused with sweet roasted garlic and fresh thyme—perfect for spooning over ribeyes, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
Yield: Approximately 1 cup
Prep Time: about 2-3 minutes
Cook Time: about 5-7 minutes
Ingredients
4 cloves roasted garlic, smashed
1 cup heavy cream
1 sprig fresh thyme
Salt, to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Directions
In the same skillet used for the ribeyes (cooled slightly, with butter and fond remaining), add the roasted garlic.
Smash garlic into the pan to pulverize and release flavor.
Pour in the heavy cream and add the thyme sprig.
Season with salt and freshly cracked pepper.
Stir gently and simmer on low heat, allowing the sauce to reduce and thicken, about 5–7 minutes. Do not boil or scald the cream.
Remove thyme sprig before serving.
