Ingredients

  • 4 Sausage patties (pork, turkey, or chicken)

  • 4 Large eggs

  • 4 Slices cheese (Cheddar, American, Swiss, or Pepper Jack)

  • 4 English muffins, bagels, or biscuits (split and toasted)

  • 2 tbsp Butter or oil (for cooking eggs)

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: Hot sauce, avocado, sautéed onions, or jam

 

Directions

  1. Sausage Prep: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage patties until browned and internal temperature is safe (approx. 4–5 minutes per side). Remove and keep warm.

  2. Bread Prep: Split and toast English muffins, bagels, or biscuits until golden brown.

  3. Egg Station: Melt butter in the skillet. Crack eggs and cook to preference.

    Note: For best sandwich fit, cook "over-medium" or folded omelet-style.

  4. The Melt: Place one slice of cheese on each egg during the last 30 seconds of cooking. Cover with a lid briefly to steam/melt.

  5. Assembly: * Bottom Bread

    Cheesy Egg

    Optional Extras (Hot sauce, avocado, etc.)

    Top Bread
