Ingredients
4 Sausage patties (pork, turkey, or chicken)
4 Large eggs
4 Slices cheese (Cheddar, American, Swiss, or Pepper Jack)
4 English muffins, bagels, or biscuits (split and toasted)
2 tbsp Butter or oil (for cooking eggs)
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Optional: Hot sauce, avocado, sautéed onions, or jam
Directions
Sausage Prep: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage patties until browned and internal temperature is safe (approx. 4–5 minutes per side). Remove and keep warm.
Bread Prep: Split and toast English muffins, bagels, or biscuits until golden brown.
Egg Station: Melt butter in the skillet. Crack eggs and cook to preference.
Note: For best sandwich fit, cook "over-medium" or folded omelet-style.
The Melt: Place one slice of cheese on each egg during the last 30 seconds of cooking. Cover with a lid briefly to steam/melt.
