Stuffed Strawberry French Toast
A rich, fruity breakfast treat made with brioche, strawberry cream cheese, and fresh berries—perfect for weekends or special mornings.
Ingredients
1 sliced brioche loaf (8 slices)
Strawberry cream cheese, softened
Strawberry jam
Fresh strawberries, sliced
6 eggs
⅓ cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
Butter (for cooking)
Optional toppings: whipped cream, maple syrup, extra strawberries
Directions
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and almond flavoring. Set aside for dipping.
Spread softened strawberry cream cheese on 4 slices of brioche.
Spread strawberry jam on the remaining 4 slices.
Place sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese-covered slices, then top with the jam-covered slices to form sandwiches. Press gently to help them stick together.
Heat about 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
Serve warm, topped with whipped cream, more fresh strawberries, and maple syrup if desired.
