Stuffed Strawberry French Toast

A rich, fruity breakfast treat made with brioche, strawberry cream cheese, and fresh berries—perfect for weekends or special mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 sliced brioche loaf (8 slices)

  • Strawberry cream cheese, softened

  • Strawberry jam

  • Fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 6 eggs

  • ⅓ cup milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring

  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring

  • Butter (for cooking)

  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, maple syrup, extra strawberries

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and almond flavoring. Set aside for dipping.

  2. Spread softened strawberry cream cheese on 4 slices of brioche.

  3. Spread strawberry jam on the remaining 4 slices.

  4. Place sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese-covered slices, then top with the jam-covered slices to form sandwiches. Press gently to help them stick together.

  5. Heat about 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  7. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.

  8. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream, more fresh strawberries, and maple syrup if desired.
