Tools For Cooking Meats

On my personal blog BiteTheRoad.com, I often share ideas and content from fellow food blogger, Anna Stewart. One of her recent posts was a perfect reminder for our @foodtoktv fam on some important things to have when cooking meats.


This includes:

1) having a good knife set that fits your hand, feels good in the grip and is the right knife for the task.

2) having an “instant read” thermometer for meats and baking

3) having different cutting boards available that are easy to keep clean. Keep one for meat, fish that can be sanitized.

4) have drying or cooking racks in different sizes so that you have some to fit inside your pans when you want meats to stay above the liquids for better heat distribution.

5) be sure your measuring tools “measure up”. Not all do. Here is a great read to tell you more.
