Arab Rice
A sweet and savory Middle Eastern–inspired rice made with toasted angel hair pasta, raisins, pecans, butter, and dark soda. Rich, aromatic, and the perfect holiday side for turkey, pork, or roasted meats

Ingredients
3 cups rice washed and drained
3 cups dark soda
100 grams angel hair pasta
60 grams raisins
60 grams blonde raisins
1 tablespoon ground garlic
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons oil
100 grams chopped pecans
Salt
Directions
Break the angel hair into small pieces then toast in a dry pan over low heat until golden brown and set aside.
Heat oil in a pot over low then melt 1 tablespoon butter and cook the garlic until lightly browned.
Add rice toasted angel hair raisins soda and salt then cover reduce heat to low and cook about 20 minutes until rice is tender.
Stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and pecans then rest 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
