Beef Tacos

Simple, juicy, and classic, these beef tacos are all about well seasoned ground beef simmered with El Pato sauce and bouillon for big flavor without a long ingredient list. Perfect for weeknights, taco bars, or casual gatherings where everyone builds their own

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 80/20 ground beef

  • ¼ teaspoon cumin

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • ⅓ cup water

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons El Pato sauce

  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder

    Toppings:

  • Warm tortillas

  • Shredded lettuce

  • Diced tomato

  • Chopped onion

  • Shredded cheese

  • Sour cream

  • Guacamole

  • Any additional favorite toppings

 

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.

  2. Season with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly coated.

  3. Add the El Pato sauce, beef bouillon, and water. Stir well, reduce heat to medium low, and let simmer briefly until the beef is juicy and the flavors are blended.

  4. Warm tortillas and assemble tacos with the beef and desired toppings. Serve hot.
