Busy Moms Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 pound any kind of beef Stew meat works fabulous for this

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • One large can 29 ounce veg all original (I like to add an additional 15 ounce can of potatoes)

  • One small onion chopped

  • Two cloves of garlic chopped

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil

  • 32 ounces beef broth

Directions

  1. Cube up all of your beef unless it’s already cubed for you make sure it’s bite-size pieces then add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and cover the beef completely set aside for 10 to 15 minutes In a deep skillet or large pot, over medium heat, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil add onions and garlic Let those start to become fragrance then add your cornstarch covered beef.

  2. Cook the beef thoroughly Add veggie and potatoes give everything a good stir and then add half of your beef broth Let that come to a boil add more beef broth if you desire more id in your beef stew if you’ve added too much beef broth to your beef stew, you can thicken it up by adding another tablespoon of cornstarch. Once everything is thoroughly heated, it is ready to serve.

  3. This pairs well with the Irish soda bread. Also, you can use lamb instead of beef and it makes it an Irish stew
