Butternut Squash Waffle Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
½ cup mashed butternut squash
1 egg
2 tablespoons almond flour or regular flour
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Nonstick spray
1 sausage patty
1 egg for frying
1 slice American cheese or cheddar
2 tablespoons honey
¼ to ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
Heat a mini waffle maker and spray with nonstick then mix squash egg flour salt and cinnamon until smooth and cook waffles 3 to 4 minutes each until golden.
Cook the sausage patty in a skillet over medium heat until browned on both sides.
Fry the egg to your liking and melt the cheese on top.
Assemble the sandwich by stacking waffle sausage egg and cheese then top with the second waffle.
Warm honey and stir in red pepper flakes then drizzle over the sandwich and serve.
