Carnivore Hot Dog Buns
These simple carnivore-friendly hot dog buns are made with just three ingredients and come out soft, slightly chewy, and perfect for wrapping around your favorite hot dogs or sausages.
Yield: 4-6 buns
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 11-13 minutes
Special Equipment: n/a
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 ½ cups goat milk powder
1 tablespoon baking powder
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together the goat milk powder and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the eggs, about ½ cup at a time, stirring continuously. The batter should reach a consistency similar to raw sourdough—thick but pliable.
Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking, then roll the dough into log shapes resembling hot dog buns.
Place the formed buns onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until the tops begin to lightly brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
