Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
A bold, crispy, spicy sandwich made from one large chicken breast split into two cutlets, fried to golden perfection and coated in a tangy homemade buffalo sauce. Served on toasted buns with cool ranch and crunchy toppings.

Ingredients
1 large chicken breast cut in half and pounded thin
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 sandwich buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, pickles, ranch, or cheese
Directions
In a bowl, combine buttermilk with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken cutlets, cover, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour and cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, pressing firmly for a thick coating.
Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat to 350°F. Fry chicken 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.
Remove and drain on paper towels. Brush or toss with buffalo sauce see recipe below.
Serve on toasted buns with desired toppings.
