Japanese Chicken Curry

 

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken thighs, 2 per person

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 onions, quartered

  • 2 carrots, sliced thick

  • 2 apples grated

  • celery stalks, chopped

  • 1 tomato, quartered

  • 3 hands ginger

  • 1 head garlic

  • 10 new potatoes, peeled and halved

  • 4 quarts water

  • 1 box Japanese Golden Curry

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 4 tablespoons Japanese bbq sauce

 

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into 1-2 inch pieces.

  2. Add all chicken and oil into a stock pot large enough to hold all ingredients over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Add all veggie sand water

  4. Add honey, Japanese BBQ sauce, or any additional spice you prefer.

  5. Cook for 2-3 hrs is the best, but if you don’t have time, just 30min.

  6. In the last 10 minutes, add the Japanese Golden Curry

  7. Serve over rice.
