Chopped Italian Sandwiches
All the flavors of a classic Italian sub chopped together into one delicious bite. Loaded with deli meats, cheese, crisp vegetables, and a creamy Italian dressing, this viral sandwich is packed with flavor and perfect for lunch or an easy dinner.

Ingredients
1 to 2 hoagie rolls or sub rolls
6 to 8 slices Italian deli meats (salami, pepperoni, ham, capicola, or your favorite combination)
2 to 3 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
¼ cup diced red onion
¼ cup diced tomato
¼ cup pepperoncini or banana peppers
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Italian dressing
½ tsp dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
On a large cutting board, pile the deli meats, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pepperoncini or banana peppers.
Using a large knife, chop everything together into small bite sized pieces.
Add the mayonnaise, Italian dressing, oregano, salt, and pepper directly onto the chopped mixture. Continue chopping and folding until everything is evenly coated.
If desired, lightly toast the hoagie rolls for added crunch.
Pile the chopped mixture into the rolls, press gently, and slice in half.
Serve immediately while the vegetables are crisp.
