Cinnamon Roll Peach Monkey Bread

Soft cinnamon roll pieces baked with fresh peaches in a buttery brown sugar glaze, then finished with sweet icing. The cast iron skillet creates irresistible caramelized edges with a gooey center.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls, with icing

  • 1 fresh peach, thinly sliced

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter a 10 inch cast iron skillet.

  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and set the icing packet aside.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the cinnamon roll pieces, sliced peach, and cinnamon. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over the cinnamon roll mixture and toss until evenly coated.

  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared cast iron skillet, spreading it evenly and lightly pressing it down.

  5. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, until golden brown, bubbling, and cooked through. If the top browns too quickly, loosely tent with foil after 15 to 20 minutes.

  6. Let rest for 10 minutes. Warm the reserved icing packet for 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave, then drizzle over the warm monkey bread before serving.
