Citrus Coleslaw
Citrus coleslaw is a bright, refreshing twist on classic slaw, combining shredded cabbage and carrots with a zesty dressing made from fresh citrus juice—typically orange, lime, or lemon. The dressing is lightly sweet, tangy, and often balanced with a touch of honey or sugar, vinegar, and a bit of oil or mayo for creaminess. It’s crisp, vibrant, and perfect as a side dish for grilled meats, tacos, or seafood, adding a clean, citrusy crunch to any meal.

Notes
Keep the lemon juice light at first-you can always add more, but too much will overpower the slaw.
Grated onion helps distribute flavor evenly without harsh bites.
This slaw is bright, fresh, and slightly spicy-perfect for cutting through rich dishes like your Sloppy Dorothy.
