Classic Cherry Cobbler with Cake Mix

A warm, comforting cherry cobbler made with sweet pie filling and a buttery cake-mix crumble that bakes up golden and cozy every time

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white or yellow cake mix

  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter

Optional: ½ tsp almond extract and ½ cup chopped nuts.

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.

  2. Spread cherry pie filling in the dish; stir in almond extract if using.

  3. Mix dry cake mix with melted butter until crumbly; stir in half the nuts if using.

  4. Sprinkle half the crumble over the cherries, lightly swirl with a fork, then add the remaining crumble and nuts.

  5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling. Cool slightly before serving
