Garlic Shrimp Alfredo

Garlic shrimp Alfredo is a rich and comforting pasta dish that combines juicy, sautéed shrimp with a creamy, garlicky Alfredo sauce. The shrimp are typically seasoned and cooked in butter and garlic until tender, then tossed with fettuccine or your favorite pasta. A smooth sauce made from cream, Parmesan cheese, and more garlic coats everything in a velvety finish, creating a perfect balance of savory seafood flavor and indulgent creaminess. It’s a quick yet elegant meal that feels restaurant-quality but is easy to make at home.

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

For the Homemade Garlic Alfredo Sauce

• 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter

  •  1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon fish & veggie seasoning

  •  Roasted garlic and rosemary seasoning

  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 4 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Ingredients for the Rest of the Dish

  • Cooked pasta of your choice (I used linguine, rotini or fettuccine also work well) about 1 pound

  • 2 lbs raw Argentina red shrimp

  • 1/2 shallot, finely minced

Directions

  1. Season the shrimp with roasted garlic and rosemary seasoning and some Fish & Veggie Seasoning. Pan sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. Make the Garlic Alfredo sauce: In a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. Stir in the Fish & Veggie Seasoning and cook for another 30 seconds, allowing the spice to bloom and release their aroma.

  4. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. To get your sauce extra silky, add 1/2 block of cream cheese.

  6. Stir in the Italian seasoning. Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings if needed. Keep the sauce over low heat.

  7. Assemble the dish. Cook your pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the warm Alfredo sauce. Toss gently to coat everything evenly. Garnish with fresh basil and more Parmesan if desired.
