Yields: 10-12 mini
Prep Time: 15 minutes plus rise time
Cook Time: 18 minutes
Special Equipment: small ramekin or muffin tin
Ingredients
1 (10 oz) frozen pizza dough ball, thawed
3 tablespoons softened butter
⅓ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
Optional: pinch of salt or chopped nuts
For the Glaze:
½ cup powdered sugar
1–2 teaspoons milk or cream
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Thaw the Dough: Place the frozen dough ball in a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let thaw and rise in the fridge overnight, or at room temperature for 4–6 hours, until doubled in size.
Prep and Roll: Lightly flour your surface. Roll the dough into a 9" x 6" rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
Add Filling: Spread the softened butter evenly across the dough. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle evenly over the butter.
Roll and Slice: Starting from the long side, roll the dough up tightly into a log. Slice into 10–12 mini rolls (about ¾–1 inch thick). Place in a greased baking dish or muffin tin, spacing them slightly apart
(Optional) Second Rise:Cover loosely and let rise for 30–45 minutes, or until puffy.
Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk (or cream), and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
