Ingredients
2 (20 oz) cans crushed pineapple in pineapple juice, undrained
1 (20 oz) can pineapple rings, drained
1 (6 oz) jar maraschino cherries
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
1 stick salted butter, melted
½ cup brown sugar
Directions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Fruit:
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread the crushed pineapple (with juice) and the drained pineapple rings evenly on the bottom. Add the maraschino cherries over the top.
Add Lemon Juice:
Pour the lemon juice evenly over the fruit mixture.
Add the Cake Mix:
Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pineapple and cherries. Do not stir.
Add Butter and Sugar:
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Then, sprinkle the brown sugar over the butter.
