📖 Ingredients:

⭐️ 1 LB Ground Beef

⭐️ 1/2 Minced White Onion

⭐️ 3 Fresh Green Chilies or 1 Can of Green Chilies, 4oz

⭐️ 2 TBSPS Beef Better Than Bouillon

⭐️ Black Pepper to Taste

⭐️ 2 No Salt Beef Bouillon Cubes + 2 C. Water or No Salt Added Beef Broth, 2 C.

⭐️ 1/4 C. Flour

⭐️ 1/4 Stick Butter, Salted

⭐️ 1 C. Tomato Purée, Divided

⭐️ 1/2 C. Oatmeal

⭐️ 1 Large Egg

⭐️ 1 C. Heavy Cream

📖 Recipe:

1. Mix ground beef, better than beef bouillon, 1/2 of the tomato purée, oatmeal, egg and some black pepper together. Once combined well, form 6 flat round patties.

2. Heat your cast iron to a medium high heat and fry on each side. While frying preheat your oven to 385F. Also, mince your onion and green chilies or drain your can of chilies. The chilies should not be spicy.

3. Once meat has cooked set on a plate and out of the way. Add your butter, chilies and onion to the skillet and cook until soft and fragrant. Add your flour and cook for 2-3 minutes allowing the flour taste to cook out.

4. Once step 3 is done, add in your no salt beef broth and tomato paste. Add some black pepper and salt to taste. Once thickened add in your heavy cream and mix again.

5. Add your patties back into the gravy and cover with gravy. Place in oven for 30 minutes.

6. Once cooked, allow to cook.

7. Serve with mashed potatoes and carrots!
