Queen G’s Bold Ranch Blue Cheese Dip
Creamy, tangy, and unapologetically bold, this ranch blue cheese dip delivers big flavor with just the right punch. Pickled jalapeño brine adds subtle heat, while lemon juice keeps it bright and balanced. Perfect for dipping, drizzling, or spreading.
Yield: 1 ½ cups
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Special Equipment: mixing bowl
Ingredients
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup buttermilk, more or less for desired thickness
½ cup blue cheese crumbles
1 tbsp ranch seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp coarse black pepper
1–2 tsp pickled jalapeño brine or fresh lemon juice, to taste
Directions
In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk until smooth.
Stir in blue cheese crumbles, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Lightly smash some of the blue cheese into the dip while leaving some chunks for texture.
Add jalapeño brine or lemon juice to taste and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
Tips:
Use jalapeño brine for heat and tang or lemon juice for a clean, bright finish.
Mash more blue cheese for a smoother dip or leave it chunky for bold bites.
Great with flautas, wings, fries, burgers, and veggie trays
