Cook Time: 10 minutes
Special Equipment: 9x13 casserole dish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar, tightly packed

  • 6 tablespoons heavy cream

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 20 oz marshmallows, divided

  • 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • Almond bark

  • Flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside. In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and sugars are dissolved.

  2. Increase heat to medium and stir for about 2 minutes, being careful not to let the mixture boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the vanilla. Add half of the marshmallows and stir constantly until almost fully melted.

  3. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal. Add the remaining marshmallows and gently stir—do not allow them to melt completely for added texture.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Melt almond bark in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth. Use a piping bag or zip-top bag to drizzle melted almond bark over the top. Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt

  5. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
