Spaghetti and No Sauce

A flavorful pasta dish with no traditional sauce—just seasoned sausage, veggies, and perfectly coated noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage crumbles

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 lb spaghetti or fettuccine

  • 1 onion, diced small

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced small

  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons dried basil

  • Greek seseasoning for pasta water

  • Oil for tossing noodles

 

Directions

  1. In a large pot over high heat, cook pasta according to package directions. Season the water with Greek seasoning, then add the diced onions and green bell pepper.

  2. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain well. Toss the noodles with a little oil to prevent sticking and cover. Set aside.

  3. In the same pot, add sausage crumbles and sauté over medium heat.

  4. Add remaining diced peppers and onions, followed by the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.

  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

  6. Serve sausage mixture over the seasoned noodles. Enjoy!
