Spicy Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 small green cabbage, shredded

  • 4 carrots, shredded

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • ⅓ cup white vinegar

  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 hot green pepper like serrano or jalapeño, minced

  • Salt to taste

 

Directions

  1. Combine Veggies: In a large glass bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, carrots, and thinly sliced red onion

  2. Add Flavor: Stir in the minced hot pepper, vinegar, olive oil, and salt.

  3. Mix Well: Toss until everything is evenly coated.

  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

    Tip:The slaw gets better each day as the flavors develop.
