Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

This cool and tangy cilantro yogurt sauce is the perfect companion to grilled meats, kebabs, rice dishes, or fresh veggies. Made with roasted garlic, lemon, and green chili, it's bursting with flavor and takes just minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful fresh cilantro (stems okay)

  • ½ green chili

  • 1 clove roasted garlic

  • Pinch of sugar

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • Splash of milk (optional, for consistency)

 

Directions

  1. Prep Aromatics: Finely mince the cilantro, green chili, and roasted garlic—or blend for a smoother consistency.

  2. Mix: In a bowl, stir together all ingredients until well combined.

  3. Adjust Consistency: Add a splash of milk if desired to thin the sauce.

  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Serving Suggestions: Pairs perfectly with grilled meats, kebabs, rice, or as a dip for veggies and flatbreads.
