Spicy Chicken Spaghetti

Spicy Chicken Spaghetti is a bold, comforting twist on a classic pasta favorite. Tender shredded chicken is tossed with perfectly cooked spaghetti and coated in a creamy, cheesy sauce with just the right kick of heat from zesty peppers and savory spices.   • 1 pound chicken (uncooked)

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery soup

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack (or jalapeño jack) cheese

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 1 (4 oz) jar pimentos, drained

  • 1 (4 oz) can green chilies

  • 16 ounces spaghetti

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 1 stalk celery, diced

    Spices & Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Butter, oil, or cooking spray (for greasing dish)

 

Directions

  1. Preheat & Prep
    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  2. Cook the Chicken
    Boil the chicken in salted water until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
    Reserve the broth.

  3. Cook the Spaghetti
    Bring broth back to a boil (add water if needed). Cook spaghetti until al dente.

  4. Mix the Filling
    Shred chicken. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the pepper jack cheese. Mix well.

  5. Assemble
    Pour into prepared dish and top with pepper jack cheese.

  6. Bake
    Bake 45 minutes at 350°F — covered for 30 minutes, uncovered for the last 15 minutes to brown the cheese.

  7. Garnish

    Garnish to your liking and serve with a fresh salad.
