Strawberry Brownies

These strawberry brownies are made from a boxed cake mix but taste like a bakery treat! They’re thick, chewy, and bursting with strawberry flavor, topped with a simple fresh strawberry glaze that takes them over the top.

Ingredients

• box strawberry cake mix

• ½ cup vegetable oil

• 2 eggs

  For the glaze:

• 3 to 4 strawberries

• 1 cup powdered sugar

• Dash of salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9x9-inch baking pan.

2. In a bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until combined. The batter will be thick.

3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

4. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

   For the glaze:

5. In a food processor, blend the strawberries until smooth.

6. In a small bowl, mix the strawberry puree with powdered sugar and a dash of salt to make the glaze.

7. Once brownies are slightly cooled, pour the glaze over the top.
