Ashley whipped up a savory Sweet Potato Casserole this week

Sweet Potato Casserole


Ingredients:

  • 5 peeled and sliced sweet potatoes

  • 1/4-1/2 c butter

  • 3-5 Tbsp orange juice

  • 1-2 Tbsp (to taste) (plus a little) brown sugar

  • pinch of cinnamon

  • drizzle of honey

  • few handfuls of mini marshmallows

Directions:

1.Peel, wash and pat dry potatoes

2.Cut or slice potatoes into equal sized pieces

3.Boil potatoes until fork tender then drain.

4.Add all the ingredients, except the marshmallows, into a large bowl then mix.

5.Butter a 9x13 casserole dish and add the mixture and spread evenly.

6.Add marshmallows and bake on 350 for about 35-45 minutes or until golden
