Turkey Stock

 

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey carcass from cooked turkey

  • 1 onion

  • 1 bulb of garlic

  • 2 stalks celery

  • 2 stalks green onion

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 sprigs thyme

  • 3 quarts water


 

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a stock pot or a large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. Next, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 4 hrs. Allow to cool.

  3. Strain and store stock in Mason jars or freezer bags.
