Warm Mushroom Crostini
Light and savory mushroom crostini topped with buttery garlic mushrooms and fresh tarragon on crisp, toasted sourdough or country style bread

Ingredients
6 Tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, 1 chopped and 1 left whole
1 Tbsp chopped tarragon
3 cups roughly chopped cremini or portobello mushrooms
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 Tbsp olive oil
Sourdough or country style bread, thinly sliced
Directions
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the chopped garlic and tarragon and heat until the butter just begins to foam.
Add the mushrooms and cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes until soft and golden. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Lightly brush the bread with olive oil and toast on a hot grill pan until golden and lightly charred. Rub each toasted slice with the whole garlic clove.
Arrange the crostini on plates, spoon the warm buttery mushrooms over the top, and serve immediately
