White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
3 large russet potatoes peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon for boiling water
6 tablespoons butter
⅔ cup sour cream
3 to 4 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 to 1½ cups sharp white cheddar shredded
Black pepper
Salt only if needed
Directions
Add potatoes to a pot and cover with water then add 2 tablespoons bouillon and boil until fork tender.
Drain well then add butter sour cream bouillon powder and garlic powder and mix on low until creamy without overmixing.
Fold in cheddar while hot then adjust with more sour cream for tang butter for richness or a splash of warm cream if the potatoes are too thick.
Finish with black pepper on top
