Avocado/Guacamole Salsa

This vibrant and zesty guacamole salsa is a delightful hybrid, offering the creamy richness of guacamole with the pourable consistency of a traditional salsa. It's incredibly versatile, perfect for dipping tortilla chips, drizzling over tacos and burritos, or as a fresh accompaniment to grilled meats and seafood.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup puréed avocado (store-bought, pure avocado with no additives)

  • ¼ cup water

  • Juice of 2 whole limes

  • ¼ white onion, roughly chopped

  • ½ bunch cilantro, roughly chopped

  • Salt to taste

 

Directions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Gather and measure all the ingredients. Wash and chop the vegetables.

  2. Blend: Add the puréed avocado, water, lime juice, onion, cilantro, and salt into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and Adjust Seasoning: Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning as needed by adding more salt, lime juice, cilantro, or onion to fit your palate.

  4. Serve: Pour the salsa into your serving dish. This salsa is perfect on top of tacos or any other dish where you'd like to add avocado.
