Cilantro Lime Crema

A zesty, creamy sauce that pairs perfectly with tacos, grilled meats, or roasted veggies. Made with fresh cilantro, lime, and a blend of sour cream and mayo, this crema is a must-have for any flavor-packed dish. Optional avocado adds a silky twist

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ bunch fresh cilantro

  • 1 clove garlic

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1–2 tbsp water

  • ½ avocado for a richer, silkier texture

 

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Leave a few flecks of cilantro for texture if desired.

  2. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.

  3. Chill for 15–30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
