Mexican Cheeseburgers
Juicy chili seasoned cheeseburgers are topped with melted Pepper Jack, creamy guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and cilantro for a bold, flavorful twist on a classic burger.

Ingredients
1½ lbs ground beef chuck, 80% lean
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
¾ tsp salt
4 slices Pepper Jack or Monterey Jack cheese
4 hamburger buns or Kaiser rolls
½ cup guacamole
½ cup fresh pico de gallo
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
Heat a grill or large skillet over medium high heat. Cook the burgers for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each burger and cover briefly until melted.
Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet.
Place each cheeseburger on the bottom bun. Top with guacamole, pico de gallo, and chopped cilantro. Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
