Mr Crown Royal’s Plum Glazed Shrimp Hibachi

Sweet, savory, and slightly spicy hibachi loaded with juicy shrimp, caramelized noodles, and tender veggies all coated in a glossy plum sauce. Big flavor with that signature flat top finish.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp plum sauce

  • 2 tbsp mirin or rice vinegar

  • 4 tsp minced ginger

  • 4 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 to 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Holy Voodoo seasoning to taste

  • 1 tbsp butter optional

  • 16 oz noodles

  • 6 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 to 2 zucchini, sliced

  • 1 to 2 yellow squash, sliced

  • 1 head broccoli florets

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • ½ onion, sliced

 

Directions

  1. Cook noodles in salted water until al dente, drain, and lightly oil. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and season shrimp.

  2. Heat griddle to medium high, add oil, cook onions 2 to 3 minutes, add remaining veggies, season lightly, and cook 4 to 5 minutes until tender with slight char. Move to side.

  3. Add oil to hot side and cook shrimp 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred. Add butter at the end if using and remove.

  4. Add butter and oil to the griddle, add noodles, let them sit briefly, then toss and heat through.

  5. Pour sauce over noodles and toss until coated and slightly caramelized.

  6. Add veggies back in, place shrimp on top, toss gently, and finish with sesame seeds.
