Pan-Fried Cod with Creamy Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- For the Fish: 
- 4 Cod fillets (about 6 ounces each) 
- Salt and black pepper to taste 
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 
- For the Sauce: 
- 1 cup sour cream 
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise 
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped 
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
- 1/2 teaspoon citric acid 
- Salt and black pepper to taste 
Directions
- Start by seasoning the cod fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. 
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt. 
- Add the cod to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the pan and keep warm. 
- For the sauce, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, and citric acid in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined. 
- Serve the pan-fried cod hot, topped with a generous spoonful of the creamy dill sauce.
