Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

A simple, savory side dish featuring crispy Brussels sprouts tossed with olive oil, garlic, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan, then roasted to golden perfection.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Trim the stems from the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.

  3. In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese until evenly coated.

  4. Spread the sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  5. Roast for 20 minutes, then flip each sprout and roast for another 20 minutes, or until tender and golden brown.

  6. Serve warm as a crispy, cheesy side dish.
