Peach Slices Over Canned Biscuits

Warm canned biscuits topped with quick syrupy peaches and vanilla. Simple, fast, and exactly the kind of cozy dessert you can throw together fast.

Ingredients

  • 1 can canned biscuits

  • 1 can sliced peaches, with syrup

  • Sugar, to taste

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Optional:

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • Pinch nutmeg

  • Tiny pinch salt

  • 1–2 tbsp melted butter, for brushing biscuits

  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, for serving

 

Directions

  1. Bake biscuits according to package directions.

  2. While biscuits bake, add peaches and syrup to a small saucepan. Warm over medium heat 5–8 minutes until hot and slightly syrupy.

  3. Stir in vanilla and sugar to taste. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, or salt if using.

  4. Split warm biscuits, spoon peaches and syrup over the top. Brush biscuits with butter if desired. Serve warm.
