Pepperoni Pizza Hot Dogs

Everything you love about a classic pepperoni pizza piled onto a juicy grilled hot dog. Toasted garlic butter buns, warm marinara, gooey mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni make these a fun, easy dinner that's always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

• 4 beef hot dogs

• 4 hot dog buns

• 2 tablespoons softened butter

• ½ teaspoon garlic powder

• ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

• ¾ cup marinara or pizza sauce, warmed

• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

• 20 to 24 mini pepperoni slices

• Grated Parmesan cheese

• Fresh parsley or basil

Directions

1. Mix the butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Spread onto the buns and toast until golden.

2. Grill or cook the hot dogs until lightly charred.

3. Place the hot dogs in the toasted buns. Top with warm marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni.

4. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes, or cover in a skillet until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Garnish with Parmesan and fresh parsley or basil, if desired, and serve immediately.

   Tips:

   Mini pepperoni crisps up beautifully.

   No broiler? Cover the hot dogs in a skillet for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
