Tail-Gate Way Rub
A great barbecue rub is the secret to a killer barbecue dish, and this right here is our go-to blend from "The Tailgate." We spent a lot of time figuring out the perfect ratio of brown sugar, savory onion and garlic, and a little kick from the cayenne and pepper. It's a carefully balanced blend that creates that deep, caramelized bark we love on our pulled pork and ribs. Trust us, it’s truly all-purpose and amazing on chicken, brisket, or even just grilled veggies. Mix up a big batch for yourself, because this is what's going to make your backyard barbecue taste like a professional pitmaster's!

Ingredients
100 g kosher salt
100 g brown sugar
20 g roasted garlic powder
20 g paprika
10 g onion powder
10 g cayenne
10 g dry mustard powder
5 g ground black pepper
2 g ground cumin
1 g oregano
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
Whisk together thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color and all of the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Store the rub in a clean, airtight container in a cool, dark place. For best flavor, use within 6 months.
