Crab Boil Crackers

Buttery low and slow baked crackers coated in a rich crab boil style butter sauce. Crispy savory and perfect for snacking or dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 box mini saltine crackers

  • 1 stick salted butter, melted

  • ½ cup neutral oil

  • 2 tsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp no salt Tony Chachere cajun seasoning

  • ½ freshly squeezed lemon

 

Directions

  1. Melt butter and oil together in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Stir in brown sugar and all seasonings. Simmer gently for 2 minutes, stirring to combine.

  3. Place crackers in a large bowl with a tight fitting lid.

  4. Pour butter mixture over crackers, cover, and shake until evenly coated.

  5. Spread crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 250°F for 15 minutes, stir, then bake another 15 minutes.

  6. Let cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
